My boyfriend and I came here for our first trip together and it was both of our first time’s in Boston. We were really impressed! It was affordable for the quality of the stay, and in the most perfect location we could’ve imagined. We were never more than a ten minute walk away from anything! The suites were beautiful, and the bathroom was so awesome with a tub and shower. The balcony was small, but still a nice addition and gave us a great view. Overall, we would definitely come here again and made for a really memorable and special trip together. Thank you!

Beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff was courteous but hardly needed, as everything went smooth and exceeded expectations.

Restaurant was closed and under construction. Didn’t care for the unusable fridge in the room, that only served as an instant-charge minibar. Many conveniences available to others, I suppose.

Elevators can be a little challenge to locate from some rooms. There was also a curious scene at the end of our hall with a room that had been blatantly broken into with a pry bar.

Our first night that we had a superior King room which was nicely appointed. A cute little balcony, although the one door did not open.

The next night we upgraded to the Millennium suite. This is an extremely large and spacious suite. The balcony offered us a wonderful view of Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market.

We spent much time on this balcony enjoying the sights and sounds of Boston. There is a caveat, Boston knows how to party. And they can do so very late in the evening. So some of these rooms maybe a little loud for some. We found it to be enjoyable, and when the doors and curtains were drawn it did diminish the sound enough to get some sleep.

The Dawes Suite will be next year!

My daughters and I traveled to Boston from Alabama on our way to Martha’s Vineyard. Our stay at the XV Beacon Hotel was very pleasant. Check in was easy and the driver service was a huge help and perk; Mark and Valentine are awesome! My corner room was very nice, large and the amenities were well appointed. I loved having a fireplace in my bedroom! Should I return to Boston I will definitely return to the XV Beacon.

Kimpton, please stop the amenity fee charade. This particular property is not offering any amenity of value. Your gym is too small for a proper workout and you’re only offering coffee in the morning with a choice of cream packets and white sugar. I paid $20 for access to a local gym and $6 for a better coffee down the street.

After 25 years of staying at Kimpton properties, I’ll likely not be staying at another Kimpton until you stop taking advantage of your paying guests or truly offer amenities of value.

The hotel staff was great -from the front desk to the valet. The room was spacious and beautiful. Traveled with our dogs and everyone was friendly with them. Perfect location for walking the Boston Common, public garden, and Quincy Market. Added bonus of vegan food options in walking distance!

Great ambiance to the hotel and rooms, and the oversized rooms were very comfortable. Lower floors get some noise from the traffic, so it’s definitely preferable to go to higher floors! At a very convenient location on Tremont street, walking distance from Walgreens, the T, and other shops on Winter street

I can not say how much I appreciate and admire this hotel! The gentleman (I wish I got his name! but he was a young male working early Tuesday Morning on 9/21/21. He got me into my room early after I had an flight issue. He was so kind and courteous! While I was there the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff was professional and friendly. The location was fantastic and they were even filming a movie! Also loved the filter water available and restaurant attached. I had a great stay and will stay with Club Quarters time and time again after this experience! I’m also telling all my friends! Thank you!!!

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel! The facilities and room were both clean, updated, and well-maintained.

I love their water bottle refill stations, it’s so convenient and such a big help for travelers on the go. That alone would get me to stay at another Club Quarters! I wish more hotels offered simple but really useful features like this.

Amazing stay! We were so comfortable! The food/drinks next door at the Elephant and Castle were great. Only negative is my husband lost his keys and they hurried him through going back and looking he almost left without them! (They were behind a desk) I would absolutely stay here again and I look forward to it! Everyone is so nice and they actually have human personalities.🙂👍👍

Perfect stay at Harborside Inn. Myself and two other couples chose to stay here while in Boston. We all were on separate floors with inside rooms. The hotel was clean, modern decor w/ nautical theme, staff was friendly and helpful, beds were soft, it was nice and quiet for a perfect night of sleep. The Complimentary coffee in the morning was spot on too. The location can’t be beat. We were close to restaurants, bars, touristy spots. We felt safe. I will definitely stay here again when back on the East Coast!!

Excellent location near to the long wharf, Quincy Market and the North End. The staff was terrific and always greeted us when passing by the front desk. We had a newly renovated double queen cabin (no windows). The room was quiet, clean and AC was fantastic. The bathroom was designed well with plenty of racks to hand your towels, etc. The shower had great pressure and was spacious.

The people checking us in and out were great, so nice! The rooms were nice, as was the bathroom. There were a couple issues, toilet would act like it was going to overflow so we’d call the front desk and in about 10 minutes we’d here the toilet go down very loudly. Very odd! There were no washcloths in the bathroom either. Outside of that, I did enjoy my stay

Excellent location. Comfortable albeit small double beds – guess I’m used to full or queen beds. Clean room. Friendly staff. But…
The massive hum next to room 1004 was unacceptable. If there’s a chance I’ll be placed in that room again, I will never book a room at this hotel. By the time I realized it, my two daughters and I were in bed with 5 open suitcases — we were not going to change rooms.
Also, the water pressure was very low (due to it being the top floor?), and the sink only produced warm or hot water.
I was very disappointed that there was no breakfast. The website says it, but you have to actually click on EAT + DRINK, and then on Ruby Room, to see that the restaurant is closed. It could have been more clear. We walked to Finagle a Bagel which has no table service.
I could not follow the directions provided on a business card from hotel to Government Center Garage ($35/night). Eventually I used my own navigation and found it.
All in all, disappointing experience and I would probably try a different hotel next time I am in Boston.

Great experience staying at this very convenient property. It was a short stay but well worth it. The rate was very reasonable and I got the package that included parking. The parking garage was just around the corner and one was able to enter and exit as many times as you needed. Walking around was a breeze, everything was convenient. The room was spacious and nicely appointed. Thank you for a great stay

We had never been to Boston before, and we are so glad we chose the Hilton. The location was absolutely perfect for us. We were able to walk to almost everything we wanted to see or do. The things that were a bit too far, like the Isabella Gardner Museum or Fenway, were an easy cab ride away.

We chose one of the upgraded, or remodeled rooms and were very happy with it. Great bed and bedding, remodeled bathroom. Not a big room, but perfect for the two of us.

The one drawback that we found was that the coffee shop that is attached, while very nice, was open limited hours. So, when we came back in the evening and wanted something to drink or snack on, there were no options. The vending machines were apparently not functioning on any floor. I didn’t try them all, but when I checked at the main desk, that’s what I was told.

That was a minor inconvenience, though, in an otherwise nice stay. We’ll gladly stay here again when we return to Boston.

5 stars for the location. This is the perfect location and within walking distance to basically everything you’d want to see in Boston. The room however was a lot smaller than I’m used to and the fridge in my room did not work. I’m also a gold member and the front desk agent did not mention anything regarding breakfast even though gold members are supposed to receive complimentary breakfast.

If I could give it a 6 star I would. Front desk people were friendly and super helpful. Recommended local eateries in lieu of the typical tourist places. Had probably the best meal I have ever eaten in my life thanks to Emily at the front desk. Super convenient location right across the street from the main subway station. Walking distance to most everything you would want to see as a tourist. To make it even more awesome, my 15 yo son left his wallet with his driving permit and $32 in it, in the bed. We received the wallet back in the mail with all the money still in it. Honest, truthful, trustworthy hotel and workers!

My husband and I had unpleasant experience when we first checked in, However, Mr. Patrick Strong , a man of great integrity- was straight forward, accepted criticism, and dove right into finding a solution for the problem and instead created an amazing weekend by extending Indigos hospitality. Very convenient. Odd layout of junior suite. Handicap accessible but the grab bars made it very hard to use the sink. I can’t imagine if I were handicapped. Seemed less luxurious than I’d expect for the money. Check in is 4pm, they were late, then there was a fire alarm. Walk downstairs of course and went out for a few hours. No way all those guests were getting up anytime soon. No explanation or compensation. Got a good nights sleep but was happy to be off well before noon checkout. Staff friendly and helpful to a point.

If it was not for the great deal we got, I don’t know if we could have afforded to stay here. This place earns its five stars. The downstairs is immaculate and is everything I would expect from being a New England Hotel. The views from the harbor and from the windows are breathtaking. In the basement there is a gym and a spa that looks like it was made for executives. They even make you tea and coffee as you’re coming out of set gym (or at least they were that day).

This was a wonderful 5 day stay experience in Boston! The staff was friendly and I received a courtesy upgrade to a city view at check-in. The hotel recently reopened after 15 months so the Avery Bar had not yet opened, which was disappointing but understandable. Artisan Bistro, however, certainly didn’t disappoint as I had almost all of my meals and drinks there. Also, the men on the concierge team were always helpful and courteous. Keep up the good work!

We stayed at the Ritz the night of our wedding and it was very disappointing. My spouse had mentioned that it was a special occasion and we had just gotten married a few hours prior but the room and service did not match our expectations at all. We arrived late (after our reception) and thankfully the front desk manager gave us some bottled water because the room had nothing special in it. No water, no food, let along any note to congratulate the newlyweds. It was just a plain room despite the Ritz being aware of this special occasion. In the morning when we inquired about breakfast, we were told that there is no breakfast at the Ritz and that we should go fetch something ourselves.
The Ritz is the highest category hotel in all of Boston’s Marriotts. We reserved it and paid a lot of money specifically because we expected stellar service. And it was the most disappointing hotel we stayed at despite its high category and my spouse being a gold Bonvoy member.
We do not recommend staying there. If this is a special occasion, please do yourself a favor and go to the Four Seasons or Mandarin Oriental. The rooms are cheaper and service is better.

Really cool and fun hotel. Staff is great! The Alibi Lounge on the first floor is always fun. Offered free Champagne on check in. Only one issue… we rented the pent house Ebersol Suite which is the best hotel suite in the city of Boston, 2,200 square feet at over $1500 per night. We had an after party (after our wedding) and got two noise complaints from the guests across the hall. If you think I’m going to stop my party paying over 5k for two nights, get over yourself and stay somewhere else. Pricey but worth it (unless your neighbors are Narcs) The police did come to the hotel but we ended the party and the police left before coming up, luckily. I would only hope the hotel would protect their clients who rent the best room on the property, which by the way has an insane built in speaker system made for parties!

Well, the rooms are nice, comfortable. There is no water in the room or coffee facilities. The price they charge I would have expected a lot more. This is not a 5 star hotel! It’s obviously in Beacon Hill, is this why they charge so much? The reception staff were good, offering where to go for breakfast etc. The bar staff!! She did not want to get the bill correct and certainly had an attitude. We ordered 5 drinks and she insisted in charging for 6. When I explained twice she finally gave us a bill and only charged us for 4 drinks. This was not the point but the service was shoddy. I would not go back.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was wonderful. Most likely it is the best bang for your buck to get a nice hotel in downtown Boston that does not sacrifice quality or safety. Nice. You have to make your own bed with a plastic bag full of articles, blanket is thin—not a fan of that. Upstairs WiFi signal is poor which messed up my car rental booking online.

Awesome guy Tommy at the counter. They let me hang in the lounge after checkout. Very cool. Guy in the AM is attentive. Needs better snacks. $65/night is a great price.

Awesome experience both times(November 2020/July2021. Stayed in the presidential suite. Much better rate than it’s competing neighbor hotels. View is spectacular. Room is meticulously maintained. It’s proximity to the heart of the north end is second to none.

Nice room and property amenities to accompany the fine location on Battery Wharf surrounded by water. Didn’t dine nor visit the bar. Front desk staff friendly, accommodating and helpful, all requests dispatched quickly. Comfy king bed and pillows, a large bath, yet a smaller hanging closet space but okay for our 3 day stay.

We loved our stay here. Rooms were so clean, spacious and smelled great! We had a view of the USS Constitution and could not have been more pleased with housekeeping and all the service from the staff.

Stayed here when we went to visit my son. Staff is amazing! Breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of options. Even gluten free bagels! Easy walk to the USS Constitution, eateries, bars, also to the ferry that takes you to the downtown area. Did not need to rent a car… everything was within walking distance. Got the suite that had a little kitchen in it and then walked to the Star Mart to pick up some food and made some of our own meals. Be sure to walk the freedom trail and see all the historical sites!

I stayed here to go fishing. “Lucky 7” right out of Marina next door book early because they amazing and fill up quick. Perfect place to stay. Full fridge let me have all my food the night before. Staff are friendly and helpful. Walk to everything you need.
This will be an annual trip and I wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else or fishing with anyone. else.

This would have been at least above a 3 star review but I had one large issue. Upon arriving my car was taken by valet for parking. That night after they had parked it I was told that the car would not start (push to start button) and told them that the key fob may have to be held closer the the console to register. I didn’t hear anything after the fact so assumed it had gotten started. **I have never had this issue with my car up until this point and valet had my keys for the duration of my stay**

While checking out the next day, I was waiting for my car for half an hour and then was told it still wasn’t starting. They had not let me know the night before that it still wasn’t starting and it could have gotten sorted out then, rather then when I had to check out and drive home 300 miles. After trying the car myself, it still wasn’t starting and I’ve have NEVER had this problem before. A locksmith came to the parking garage and said that a piece of the circuit board had become disconnected inside of the key fob. I have to assume that the key had been dropped, and my car had been working perfectly fine until it was under the care of valet. I do have the day that the valet employees were extremely kind and did try to help sort out the issue, but the hotel itself was extremely unaccommodating after the fact. I had to spend $400 for the locksmith to program a new key to my car, and I can only assume that something must have happened to my keys while under the watch of valet as my car had never had this issue before.

I can forgive most of that, BUT I had not been told the night before that my car still wasn’t starting after valet’s initial call to me to stay the key fob wasn’t working.

Paul, the valet was literally the best employee there. He set a great first impression upon arrival. And was extremely helpful. He helped me get a parking spot for my cargo van since valet wasn’t an option. This dude needs several raises and/or promotions.
