My room was pretty acceptable considering the Constitution Inn was the cheapest option in the area. Unfortunately the HVAC was not working during my stay so it got a pretty hot in my room however they did provide a fan. The water only got to lukewarm by the end of my first shower.

Stayed here when we went to visit my son. Staff is amazing! Breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of options. Even gluten free bagels! Easy walk to the USS Constitution, eateries, bars, also to the ferry that takes you to the downtown area. Did not need to rent a car… everything was within walking distance. Got the suite that had a little kitchen in it and then walked to the Star Mart to pick up some food and made some of our own meals. Be sure to walk the freedom trail and see all the historical sites!

I stayed here to go fishing. “Lucky 7” right out of Marina next door book early because they amazing and fill up quick. Perfect place to stay. Full fridge let me have all my food the night before. Staff are friendly and helpful. Walk to everything you need.
This will be an annual trip and I wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else or fishing with anyone. else.

Breakfast includes cereal, yogurt, soda, juice, coffee, waffles, toast, pastries, bacon, eggs, sausage. Can’t argue with that. Staff is crazy attentive and quick to respond to requests for toiletries, etc. Creepy pleasant. Used to hospitality workers giving just enough effort not to get fired, these people act like they’re legit happy to be at work.

As I write this review I am still staying at this hotel. I booked through American Express Platinum under Fine Hotels & Resort and we got our upgrade after the 3rd night we stayed here. But I feel like it was at their mercy I got the upgrade and plus the room was not a real upgrade to me. The only difference is that there is a view and bigger bed. The room itself is smaller in size than the original one. Forget about their daily breakfast offer as their restaurant doesn’t open for breakfast and in fact, they don’t open Sun through Tue and operation hours starts at 4pm and in Room service stops at 10pm. It is so much inconvenience and I can’t believe for a hotel like that the service is so minimum. Oh, when I called the Service Desk why there were no bottle water in the room, I was told that they ran out something about problem with the delivery. They said they could only gave us two bottles. I mean really? Can’t someone just buy a few cases locally? But couple positive things about this hotel is that the room is very clean and located in a good area. There is a café that sells coffee and pastry at the corner of one of the hotel buildings and that is it. I find the description at the hotel site mentioning daily breakfast is very misleading!! I have stayed at many nice fine hotels and this is not one on top of my personal list.

As other reviews have stated, this hotel can be very deceptive and flat out wrong with their service descriptions. We had reserved a “premier waterfront room,” but were downgraded when we arrived. Apparently the reservation did not come up in their system despite us showing a valid confirmation number.
After about a month of back and forth, we are yet to obtain a refund for the difference. The hotel is now claiming to our travel provider that they did in fact provide us the upgraded room which is a flat out lie.
Not sure what is going on in the background here but there is simply no guarantee you will get what you pay for if you stay at this hotel.

Awesome experience both times(November 2020/July2021. Stayed in the presidential suite. Much better rate than it’s competing neighbor hotels. View is spectacular. Room is meticulously maintained. It’s proximity to the heart of the north end is second to none.

INDIGO 🌟didn’t get it wrong when they invested in (GM) Mr. Strong . My husband and I had unpleasant experience when we first checked in, However, Mr. Patrick Strong , a man of great integrity- was straight forward, accepted criticism, and dove right into finding a solution for the problem and instead created an amazing weekend by extending Indigos hospitality. We are thankful for such an amazing stay at your Hotel. SUPER CLEAN 🧼 AND EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL. Great leadership !! We will BE BACK …..

If I could give it a 6 star I would. Front desk people were friendly and super helpful. Recommended local eateries in lieu of the typical tourist places. Had probably the best meal I have ever eaten in my life thanks to Emily at the front desk. Super convenient location right across the street from the main subway station. Walking distance to most everything you would want to see as a tourist. To make it even more awesome, my 15 yo son left his wallet with his driving permit and $32 in it, in the bed. We received the wallet back in the mail with all the money still in it. Honest, truthful, trustworthy hotel and workers!

Excellent location. Comfortable albeit small double beds – guess I’m used to full or queen beds. Clean room. Friendly staff. But…
The massive hum next to room 1004 was unacceptable. If there’s a chance I’ll be placed in that room again, I will never book a room at this hotel. By the time I realized it, my two daughters and I were in bed with 5 open suitcases — we were not going to change rooms.
Also, the water pressure was very low (due to it being the top floor?), and the sink only produced warm or hot water.
I was very disappointed that there was no breakfast. The website says it, but you have to actually click on EAT + DRINK, and then on Ruby Room, to see that the restaurant is closed. It could have been more clear. We walked to Finagle a Bagel which has no table service.
I could not follow the directions provided on a business card from hotel to Government Center Garage ($35/night). Eventually I used my own navigation and found it.
All in all, disappointing experience and I would probably try a different hotel next time I am in Boston.

My mom and I stayed in a 2 queen beds room for 3 nights. It was our first visit to the area and we wanted to experience both Boston and Cambridge. This area is expensive, which is reflected in this hotel as well. Having said that- the hotel is great! the rooms are big and clean, the staff is nice (they helped us with early check-in and late check-out at no cost), and the location is great (walking distance from Boston).
We didn’t have any housekeeping during the stay, even though they were cleaning other rooms. Besides that, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Thank you, Kimpton Marlowe, for a relaxing and fun trip to Boston! We had a great stay. The property is newly renovated and everything was beautiful! The amenities (bikes, Polaroids, kayaks) were really a nice touch. Location is quiet but very close to lots of great shops, restaurants, and Boston/Cambridge sites. The staff was helpful and friendly. We had an emergency on our last day and they were super kind and helpful when we needed flexibility checking out late.
The only things that were not perfect were the bikes and kayaks, and the restaurant. The bike tires were poorly inflated and we had a flat on the road. We were not offered help launching the kayaks and very nearly capsized trying to get into the boats off a narrow and tricky dock. Restaurant food was good but service could be hit or miss.
All in all, we wouldn’t hesitate to come back! It was a great visit and we had a lot of fun!

The hotel is amazing!! My dogs loved it here. It was my first trip to Boston and the Kimpton Marlowe made it super memorable. Make sure to use your amex perks for the hotel collection here. The staff is super friendly and helpful! The valet guy, manager short hair lady and man who helped me out were awesome. The hotel’s mascot is super cute and loves dogs. They gave me farm raised chicken treats!! The view overlooking the bay is so nice and the bed is comfy. The hotel was so clean and the food is amazing downstairs. They also have free free from 5-6! They even brought up a food bowl and cushion for my dog! Will come back!!! ❤ 💙

This hotel would’ve received 5 stars if it wasn’t for the rust and clogging in the tub. Lobby area is welcoming and so is that staff, rooms are spacious and clean and beds are comfortable and plush. The hotel is in a great location, right on the water, across the street from the mall and plenty of restaurants and lots of boutiques. There are always taxis on the property if you need to go in a hurry, and the concierge is more than happy to help you with get to where you need to be. Gym is also nice and spacious with an indoor pool. Will definitely come back!

A near perfect experience for our weekend trip to Boston. We stayed in a queen suite on the top floor of the hotel. Everything was clean and the staff were very nice. Smallest gripe was the shower was a little small and would leak out onto the bathroom floor. Don’t let this distract you from the fact it’s still a very nice hotel for checking out Boston and Cambridge with short walking distances.

The rooms are clean and fairly new in condition and style.
Recreation room is kind of odd in that the pool is in same large indoor room as the basketball area, bumper pool table and foosball table.
Makes it kind of really humid and warm in there… not to my liking. But at least there is a recreation area.
Rooms (mine and my friends) both had evidence of water damage in the popcorn ceiling, my room had evidence of water damage on the wall next to and below the window.
Would have given this a 3 star except for the amazing worker behind the desk, Christian, he was the perfect example of what someone in guest services should be like. He was extremely polite and professional. I watched him check in several guests in front of me, each with a multitude of questions (and some with attitude), yet still have more than enough patience and professionalism to answer my questions without anything but pure politeness.
Also the staff at your breakfast servings were nothing but kind and attentive.
Holiday Inn, you need to keep these employees, pay them more and train & promote Christian.

When we got there the room wasn’t ready, even though we had a reservation. Not a big deal. But then our room had literally one bath towel, one floor towel and a face cloth. The bed only had three pillows. The air conditioner didn’t work.
All of the staff were extremely nice. No fault to the staff, I know places are short handed. Not what we were expecting though. Ugh.

What a Cost effective hotel! Everything is good here! Very honest and professional service people. This hotel makes me feel like I am at my own house. The breakfast is free and good. We switched from Holiday Inn Boston Bunker Hill Area to this Holiday Inn Express, and this Express hotel was way nicer. The Holiday Inn Boston Bunker Hill continues to raise the rate night after night while this Holiday Inn Express has a cheaper price. Another thing that is worth comparing is the location, this Holiday Inn Express has a convenient location while the Bunker Hill one has construction all over the area and is hard to get to the places that you wanted to go. Further, the breakfast here at the Holiday Inn Express is free while the Bunker Hill one has additional costs.

Rooms were large, clean and beds were comfortable. It’s in a great location and the staff was helpful and friendly. The only complaints would be road noise that’s probably not bad if your in the back of hotel (we were right in the front) and the parking. Parking lot for the hotel is small and tight. Larger SUVs or trucks would have a tough time. Pricing for parking was extremely reasonable though.

Best Wyndham accommodations we’ve stayed in but we spent more points than usual. Good location to local sites as we wanted to walk and not use public transportation except taxi to and from airport. Restaurant had fair prices. Service was excellent. We never had room service, but wasn’t needed. Shortage of bottled water.

Great location — lots of restaurants, coffee shops, bars and shops very close by, a 5 minute walk to the MBTA red line station, and a 5 minute walk to the Boston Common.
The “wellness” room we stayed in was comfortable. Decent size, reasonably comfortable bed (but not fantastic), reasonably comfortable pillows (but not fantastic). Cool lighting controller that lets you adjust the brightness of all 4 lamps at once. Also has an air filtration system.
On the down side, the room hasn’t been renovated or updated in any way in what seems like many decades. There are some holes in the bathroom wall. There’s rust on the bathroom light fixture. Only one side of the shower door actually opens and closes — the side right next to the toilet, so you have to squeeze past the toilet to get in and out. The other side seems to be broken. The towels are the quality you’d expect in a cheap motel, not in the Wyndham. Same for the toilet paper. The shampoo was so tiny that it was basically used up in one shower, and they’re not doing daily room cleaning service due to the pandemic, so you have to call the front desk and ask them to bring more.
Overall, I’d say it’s comfortable and clean, just not the quality I would have expected.

My boyfriend and I came here for our first trip together and it was both of our first time’s in Boston. We were really impressed! It was affordable for the quality of the stay, and in the most perfect location we could’ve imagined. We were never more than a ten minute walk away from anything! The suites were beautiful, and the bathroom was so awesome with a tub and shower. The balcony was small, but still a nice addition and gave us a great view. Overall, we would definitely come here again and made for a really memorable and special trip together. Thank you!

The Liberty Hotel is a delightful and historic hotel located in a very walkable location. Beacon hill and the river walk were very close and you could get about anywhere in the city in a taxi in under 15 minutes. The lobby is very impressive and the staff was very pleasant in all interactions. The room was a bit on the smaller side and needed some repairs, but quiet and comfortable.
My only problem with the hotel was that entering the hotel there is a sign requiring masks and once you go up the escalator I saw a front desk person and bartender not wearing masks. Quite off-putting for an otherwise great experience.

Really cool and fun hotel. Staff is great! The Alibi Lounge on the first floor is always fun. Offered free Champagne on check in. Only one issue… we rented the pent house Ebersol Suite which is the best hotel suite in the city of Boston, 2,200 square feet at over $1500 per night. We had an after party (after our wedding) and got two noise complaints from the guests across the hall. If you think I’m going to stop my party paying over 5k for two nights, get over yourself and stay somewhere else. Pricey but worth it (unless your neighbors are Narcs) The police did come to the hotel but we ended the party and the police left before coming up, luckily. I would only hope the hotel would protect their clients who rent the best room on the property, which by the way has an insane built in speaker system made for parties!

We decided to come here for lunch because of the great reviews. The hubs had some raw oysters that he thought were good, we shared some clam casinos that were yummy also. We then waited what seemed to be forever for our lobster roll with fries. Our waiter saw that the table who sat down significantly later than us even received their lobster roll before we did. We did not complain as she did realize it before i was able to bring it to her attention. Upon checking with the kitchen, we were informed they had lost the ticket. We waited another 10 minutes or so on top of 20 – 30 mins initially already. We’re not sure if it was the fact that we waited so long that the anticipation of the lobster roll taste was disappointing to us. It was nothing special in our opinion, we’ve definitely had better. When we received the bill and realized it was $34 for a mediocre lobster roll with fries, i was definitely a bit more disappointed. It was the hubs birthday and i wished the experience and food was better than what he expected with all the good reviews to this establishment. The staff here were very nice though.

Great venue for a variety of sports and shows. Parking can be an issue if not planned ahead of time. T Station (North Station – Orange line) access is a definite plus and lot of people choose that transportation option. Been to Celtics games, Bruins games, Disney on Ice, Laver Cup Tennis and many more event. Usually well organized but at times there can be a longer than expected wait time. Check restrictions before you arrive ( baggage, cameras, food, water, etc). Overall, great experience.

This place was awesome. We only made it through maybe half the place in one visit. It was educational and fun for us, and our kids (6 and 9). As an added bonus, the cafe was surprisingly good for an attraction like this. The food was actually good, and the menu had a variety of stuff being your typical added on as an afterthought cafe. Prices weren’t terrible either.

My kids, aged 13 and 11, had a really good time. They normally dislike museums, especially ones recommended by mom and dad, but enjoyed this one for 3 hours. Son loved the lightning show, daughter loved laying on the nail bed and I loved eating lunch overlooking the Charles River. All the activities we did led to tons of laughter. It was definitely a fun way to learn science, minus the textbook.

Really great joy of science! Even adults can have a fun time. 🙂 Surely very educational for kids too. Many of them include activity wise explanations boosting your interests. Definitely I’ll visit again and spend more time. Well organized exhibitions also help to follow the theme. I think this kind of facility gives a glitter to Boston. Only one thing you should figure out is parking. They have a parking lot though…

The museum and the ship allow for an incredible experience. Several benches inside and outside the museum, in case you’re traveling with someone who is not able to walk long distances in one shot. The navy personnel in the ship were knowledgeable. It’s interesting to know that they are “assigmed” to that ship. The U.S.S. Constitution is almost magical. It’s beautiful and historic. Highly recommend!

Good ole iron side! the oldest ship to still be in service and better yet free to board! Definitely felt like I was part of the crew, and you learn about the USS Constitutions unique history and it’s glory days! It’s also super cool that it’s owned by the navy and people who are in the navy as your tour guides! If you’re not local and out looking for some of new England’s history this is definitely the stop 🛑

This is actually a free museum with recommended donations amounts. The museum provides a good history of the USS Constitution from when it was built all the way to today. There’s some “puzzles” for kids but most of the electronic ones are not really working. But it’s not bad to drop by if you are in the area looking a the USS Constitution.

My son was traveling from out west for funeral – with plane delays all plans were changed. Linda and Joe were so helpful and we are grateful for their kindness in helping us secure a room for his arrival. All staff were courteous and polite. Room was very nice and comfortable. Will always be my first choice when staying in Boston.

The room was clean when we arrived but because there is no housekeeping, the room felt dirty quickly and our toiletries did not get restocked (you can ask and they will bring up toiletries to your room). Location is not bad – it takes around 20 mins to get downtown and about 30 minutes to the airport. When we checked in it was midnight and the check-in person was helpful. Breakfast is average but a good option to have. Our beds were queen-sized however the sheets were for a double sized bed – not fun when you are sharing the bed with someone. Toilet sink kept clogging but the shower was good.

Very noisy area…small room but clean and comfortable. Staff was adequate…no effort to be friendly or helpful. Wouldn’t stay there again. expensive

UPDATE: Buffalo Chicken Pizza is back!!!
This delicious small Buffalo chicken pizza 🍕 came out to $17 with tax.
I called ahead and my order was taken immediately. Under 30 min turnaround time for a busy Friday night. Truly exceptional pick up process.
They really got things moving like a well oiled machine. I’ll be back before you know if for sure!
#1 for a reason. Original location. Bomb pizza.

Best pizzeria I’ve been to in the Boston area whatsoever. So good. Basically my friend took me here and it was raining and I was SO hungry and had to wait SO long, and at one point I said like “if I had known I had to wait this long I would never have even moved here!!!” but then suddenly we were let in, and we had a HUGE amazing feast, and then I thought it was SO meaningful and it wouldn’t have been the same without the whole experience! This place is so unique and awesome, a can’t-miss Boston staple.

This is the original Pizzeria Regina. We used to come to the North End to buy fireworks when I was a kid and we would always get slice of pizza from Regina’s if we had enough money on us. Then as we got older we would come to a long since gone video game arcade by the North Washington Street bridge and we would get a slice when we could. Now I only get down here from time to time but it is always so nice to go to the same place I have gone to for 40+ years. It is always just as good as it was that first time!
